The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has created unprecedented challenges for businesses and families worldwide. We would like to update you on the proactive steps we have implemented to ensure the safety of our employees and provide uninterrupted service to our customers.
Health and Safety
We have implemented numerous measures to protect the health and safety of our employees, suppliers, and customers. A significant portion of our workforce is working remotely. We have eliminated all non-essential travel and have implemented enhanced cleaning protocols at our locations.
Kaman Distribution has maintained operations in our distribution centers, branches, and fabrication centers and have instituted processes recommended by the CDC. We are open only to essential visitors including customers with proper distancing protocols enacted.
Continuity of Service
We are an “essential business” based on local guidelines and guidance from the Department of Homeland Security. We serve “critical infrastructure sectors” including:
We are communicating regularly with our suppliers about the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the availability of their products. At this point our suppliers report that their existing inventory and levels of production will allow them to satisfy demand. Should availability issues for specific product lines arise, we will notify customers.
