Motors operated by variable frequency drives (VFD) are sensitive to VFD-induced shaft voltages and bearing currents that can cause early bearing failure. Protect motors from costly bearing damage by channeling VFD-induced shaft voltages away from bearings and safely to ground.
Variable frequency drives (VFD) are used with AC electric motors to control rotational speed. They also reduce thermal and mechanical motor and component stresses during start-up.
