Proprietary processes developed over 75 years to ensure superior fit, finish and holding power. Tightly controlled face to bore perpendicularity (TIR of <.002" or .05mm) for proper alignment of mating components. Bore size and Ruland name stamped on every shaft collar for ease of identification. Proprietary processes to maintain round bore geometry for tight tolerances, proper installation fit, and improved clamping forces. Both halves of the two-piece collar are mated together throughout the manufacturing process for proper fit and alignment. Highest grade forged screws test beyond industry standards for maximum torque ability. 303 stainless steel shaft collars are supplied with hardware of like material with a proprietary screw coating to prevent galling and allow for multiple screw insertions. All shaft collars are manufactured from bar stock in our Marlborough, MA factory under strict controls using proprietary processes.
