FAQs

Do I have to register on Motion.com?

To take full advantage of the Motion.com site, we strongly recommend you register online using your Motion account information (we will provide it to you here once your move is complete). By registering, you will see contract pricing, view order history, use your own part numbers and more.

Will I be serviced by my current branch?

Your current Kaman Industrial Technologies (KIT) branch is merging with a nearby Motion branch. In many cases, you will work with the same Account Manager as before. Your Account Manager will reach out to your organization prior to the move to review any changes and to answer any questions you may have.

Will my account number change?

Once your account has been moved to Motion, you will receive a new account number. We will provide your new account number here once your move is complete.

Will my past orders and purchasing history be maintained?

Rest assured, your past order and purchasing history will be maintained with the move and will be available to view on Motion.com.

Will my Account Manager and customer service team change?

The goal is to provide you with the best possible service once the move is complete. In many cases, your Kaman Industrial Technologies (KIT) team will continue to service your account, but this may not always be the case. Your current team will reach out to you prior to the move to provide the specifics.

I have an outstanding invoice; where should I pay it?

All open orders and any outstanding invoices prior to your account migration will be fulfilled and processed through KIT. Your Account Manager can assist you with any questions.

Will my purchasing terms change?

Purchasing and Sales Terms & Conditions will transition to those of Motion.com. Please work with your Account Manager to review any changes.

How will my open Quotes be handled?

Any open Quotes will be moved over to your new Motion.com account.

Will my contracted pricing be displayed on Motion' s website?

Once you register on Motion.com and connect to your new account, you will see your specific pricing. Please meet with your account manager to review your contract pricing details.

Will my custom part numbers be transferred to my new account?

Your custom part numbers can be added to your Motion account, but they will not move automatically. Please work with your Account Manager, who will be happy to add your custom part numbers to Motion.com.

We are currently ordering through our procurement system on your website. What will change?

Our goal is to work closely with all customers to assure a smooth transition, which includes any integrations or punchout functionality.

I have an open order due to a backordered item(s). What will happen to my order?

Currently, all open orders will be serviced and fulfilled through Kaman Industrial Technologies (KIT). If you have any questions, please contact your Account Manager.
